Even though interaction is never pure and rarely simple?

“Hello” and “thank you” are simple. I’ll start with that. (Actually, “hello” may not be: https://neverpureandrarelysimple.wordpress.com/2015/06/06/hello/.)

I suspect it’s because you were mentioned somewhere, which got me here. Can’t remember where though.

Welcome. Please look around and maybe comment.

Just discovered this blog recently. I seem to have a lot in common with the author (language/grammar nerd, retired church music director, married to a Korean) and I have been scouring the archives. There are lots of items I would have liked to comment on. Do you get notified of new comments on old blog posts?
Observation: perhaps the implication that you need a WordPress account to post comments is discouraging people from joining in?

Yes, I get notifications of all comments.
When I clicked on ‘comment’ on my work computer, it invited me to comment using my WordPress, Google, Twitter or Facebook account, OR by name (appears with the comment) and email (doesn’t appear with the comment). I think that commenting facility is set by WordPress.
